CLA
CLA is an acronym for Conjugated Linoleic Acid, made by modifying the essential fatty acid, linoleic acid. Tonalin® CLA is the branded proprietary formulation of CLA sourced from safflower oil. Tonalin® CLA is the most extensively researched form of CLA available commercially.
Published clinical studies and laboratory testing, have shown that Tonalin® CLA may help to reduce body fat and enhance lean mass when used in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise program.* In fact, five human clinical studies have been published in peer-reviewed journals supporting CLA’s role in weight management.* Supplementation with CLA is valuable since we may not acquire enough through diet alone to provide an optimal effect on body composition.
The suggested daily intake of Tonalin® CLA is one 1000 mg softgel, three times daily with food, for a total of 3000 mg per day.
